On Tuesday's "Golf Central," Fred Couples informed Tim Rosaforte that he was heading to choose Tiger Woods to the Presidents Cup team. But that job interview was taped two weeks ago in the Memorial.
Rosaforte sat decrease with Couples once again Wednesday in the Senior gamers Championship at Westchester nation Club in ny and mentioned Woods will be within the group ... sort of. As only Couples can do, he straddled the fence fairly good.
"It's incorrect to leave him away the team, but lots of individuals would believe it's incorrect to place him within the team," Couples said. "Right now I think inside the guy. I'm not slighting anybody by owning to pick him."
But, inside the following air Couples mentioned he'd like to determine Woods perform additional golf, which include maybe a Fall sequence events.
"For me to choose him to perform on our group he should perform just a little additional golf," he said. "We must wait around to determine when which will be."
